Those are the two most important things to me. Additionally, it’s a handy thing to charge this instead of relying on fiddly batteries that you really can’t get rid of cleanly. So yeah, good deal. Great light.
It is great for hiking at night. Small and light-weight but very bright. Two buttons. One button controls white LED. The other one controls the red LED which is great if you need to preserve your vision for stargazing.
Easy-to-use
I wanted this headlamp primarily for skateboarding (longboarding) at night, I have kids and I can’t always get out on my board during the day, so need to be flexible with my schedule. Skating at night is definitely considerably more dangerous so having the correct equipment is a must.The Greerride rechargeable headlamp is a really nice unit, it comes in a well packaged box. It includes charging cable, the light itself, and a high quality adjustable band. I have used other light units from other brands but this unit is actually much better than most. The power of the headlamp is adjustable, and I appreciate the ability to switch to the 4 warning LEDs.Constructive feedback: I have another headlamp which has a mode, where you can turn the light on and off by waving your hand in front of it. This light has no such feature (I wish it had this feature, as when using this at night it can be difficult to avoid blinding people). The ability to quickly switch-off the light is a very useful feature.Overall a great headlamp, perfect for my needs. 5-stars!
I had, or should have said have, a headset I bought a number of years ago that required installing two, large 18650 batteries. First the batteries needed to be charged in an expensive charger with a bag covering the charging process due to the explosion and fire aspects of these lithium-ion batteries. Once charged and installed, you had a lot of weight on your head.These are ideal for my purposes, primarily, taking my dog out at night to do his business. Charging is like everything else these days, micro USB to any USB block. It took a couple hours for the unit to charge up the 1,200 mah battery and they quote 6 hours for the white lights with a longer period for the red. I’ll probably never use the red light function but the white is plenty bright on the brightest setting.The band is comfortable on my head and easily adjustable if you want wear it bare headed or with a cap or hat on. I rated the battery 5 star because, if they last over a week for me before recharging in my situation, I’ll be more than satisfied. The price of the unit is nearly what I was paying for those 18650 batteries when I used them.
Fits well on my head and does put out good light. Not as nice as others, but it does the job well.
I like how it fits and works. Lightweight, I’m looking forward to camping with this headlamp.Have not run the battery down yet.
From the packaging presentation to the product, to the performance,I’m impressed! Walked my dog a couple times using this lamp…its comfortable to wear and easily adjustable…….beyond bright for the size……easily spot a black lab in the pitch dark at 30 yards……the bright and dim function is nice to conserve battery…..the strobe function, quite frankly,I could do without….its annoying…..the red flashers are a nice touch…….all in all,I would recommend this lamp to anyone who needs to see and be seen !
Ordered this for my husband who wears headlamps often to work on cars and in the attic. The light is definitely very bright. It’s nice that is rechargeable and the battery life seems pretty good between charging. He has already worn it for periods of time a few days in a row, the light is still bright and not in need of a charge yet.
I was helping a neighbor put up a chandelier a few days ago and was holding the lamp, the tools and four screw that needed to go into a dark hole. Both of us had our hands full, standing on a ladder and the only problem was we could not see where to push a screw up into ceiling. Our only help was holding the light in our mouth. This headlight for your head solves that problem. Hands will be free to work, and the led light will easily give you the needed blast of light. It is rechargeable and light weight. Plus, it may help keep me out of the dentist office, also a plus!
I’ve had several headlamps over the years. They all used batteries that died all too fast and at the worst time. I am doing a lot of work in my cellar which is half crawl space. This light makes crawling on your stomach easier by freeing up a hand that would have been holding a flashlight. The light is bright and easily adjustable for angle. I also use it when walking the dog now that we have turned the clocks back and it gets dark at 4:30. I don’t know what I would use the white strobe for. Maybe if I go to a retro disco party? The red lamp would be better to use for an emergency flasher or when you wish to not lose your night vision by using a white light. Fits comfortable on the bare head or over a ball cap. Don’t own a hard hat so cannot speak of that feature. I would recommend.
The headlamp is very bright and there are several variations of lights to change. Two buttons on the top, one for the red lights, and one for the flash light. They can be used by themselves or at the same time. They can be solid on or blinking. The headband is thick and comfortable and is clearly labeled ‘head lamp’ on it in case you didn’t know what it was.
This is among the best headlamps we have used. Comfortable strap. Bright lights with different settings. Different angle options. The red lamp is cool. And that it is rechargeable and does not require batteries is great.
This headlamp is very bright. All the different options are useful. You can even have the red light and the white light on at the same time. Battery life is good. Its also comfortable and stays on my head
